Beyond Low & High Brow: No Brow!

The comic strip I ordered from Mr. Peter Bagge arrived in the mail today, and it is a thing of beauty. Having worked for newspapers and magazines in the past, it was nice to get my hands on an actual artifact - after four moves over eight years, my collection of memorabilia just isn't what it used to be.

It's pretty impressive - comic strips always look so clean when they are on the printed page, but up close, in addition to the black ink, there is white out, and sometimes even traces of the black and blue pencils used to sketch the drawing. The letters aren't as straight as they look on the printed page either, but that's all part of the charm. I can't wait to get it framed!
